Overview

Pediatric dentistry involves care that is specific to babies, toddlers, children and teenagers. A Pediatric Dentist spends an additional 2-3 years in training after dental school learning to monitor the growth of and to treat infants, children, and adolescents.

Dental care is incredibly important when it comes to your child’s overall health. The American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a child be seen no later than 12 months of age. We aim to make your child’s dental visit as comfortable and relaxed as possible. At all times, we use kid-friendly terminology so that your child can feel calm during their appointment. With preventative care, we can help to keep your child’s smile looking its best for life. We are here to provide your children with the care that they both need and deserve.

All children and teens are good candidates for pediatric dentistry. We will help to monitor the health of your child’s teeth as well monitor their growth and development in terms of Orthodontic needs. Problems identified and treated with a referral to an Orthodontist at an early age can reduce the need for future dental and orthodontic treatment as adults. Because children tend to be more susceptible to tooth decay, regular appointments are a must for maintaining the health of their teeth.

Dr. Chris and team strives to provide the best possible experience for both the child as well as the parent.  A positive dental experience from young age helps to build confidence in the dental setting, establishing a lifetime of positive dental experience.  If your child is in need of dental care, call our office today so that one of our friendly staff members can further assist in scheduling an appointment for you.
